The Meaning of Our Name
The name TRIPOD carries three distinct meanings.
A tripod maintains perfect balance even on unstable ground. TRIPOD Corporation supports the equipment reliability of our clients with a solid technical foundation, no matter how demanding the field environment.
TRI stands for three-phase alternating current. The number three has long symbolized stability and balance. Our core technology, Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA), is also built upon the analysis of three-phase current and voltage signals.
POD means "a place where people gather." We aspire to be a place where engineers, partners, and clients collaborate toward the shared goal of improved reliability. Just as a tripod achieves perfect stability through three points of support, we pursue complete balance in equipment diagnostics through the unity of Technology, Data, and Maintenance.
Representative Profile
With extensive experience in research and development of equipment diagnostic technologies for industrial plants and power generation facilities, he has established proprietary diagnostic methods utilizing Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA) and holds related patents. He is also proficient in integrated diagnostic techniques including vibration analysis and lubricant analysis. He actively engages with engineers internationally, pursuing broad research from classical diagnostic theory to the latest technologies. In October 2024, he founded TRIPOD Corporation with the mission of advancing next-generation equipment diagnostic technologies.

Business Activities
We analyze current and voltage signals from the control panel without stopping operations, detecting anomalies in motors, generators, gearboxes, and bearings. As the authorized distributor for Framatome EMPATH (ECMS) and MotorDoc EMPOWER (MCSA) in Japan, we cover Japan and Thailand.
On-site diagnostics conducted by ISO-certified specialists. Combining structural assessment through vibration analysis with wear and degradation evaluation through lubricant analysis, our integrated approach with ESA enables simultaneous evaluation of both internal and structural conditions of machinery.
We actively engage in applied and academic research on ESA and machinery condition monitoring technologies, promoting technology development, publication, and knowledge dissemination through industry-academia collaboration.
We provide technical support and training to distributors and partner companies, along with outsourced analysis services.
